Stags in the Woods

A youthful stag party joined us yesterday for a day of shooting and country challenges aimed at keeping spirits high and minds busy. After a morning on the clay range and the stag himself winning the high-bird shoot off the party took to one of water-meadow woods.

In two groups the challenges were to construct a bridge capable of holding eight team members and to boil a keetle starting with nothing more than a fire-striker and a single cotton wool ball. With an alcoholic incentive they set to with great enthusiasm planning, organising and executing everything perfectly. A record time in fact!
